One Time Mug Hand Building

For ages 8-108. You do not need to have any experience with clay prior to this class. In this 1.5 hour class, you will get to create your own coffee (or tea) mug. You will learn how to use the right tools and techniques to create a unique mug that you can use in your kitchen for many years. Pricing: $50/ person. This price includes the class, bisque firing, and glaze firing your mug. After the class, your piece will be bisque fired, glazed with a color of your choice, and glaze fired. The finished item can be picked up approximately 2 weeks after your class. Tips Before Booking: - Clay does wash out of clothes, but I suggest wearing something comfortable without any loose flaps. - Cut your fingernails before coming. While it is more important to have short nails for working on the wheel, it can also make it easier to work with clay when hand building. - If you have long hair, you may want to tie it up.
